Sikkim JanKhabar (SJ) was launched on 4 January 2024 as the first fully Nepali-language news website from Sikkim, founded by its Founding Editor-in-Chief, N.B. Ghimirey. Since its beginning, it has remained dedicated to reliable, responsible, and independent journalism, delivering timely news, analysis, and features on politics, society, culture, and current affairs.
To reach a wider readership, this English edition of Sikkim JanKhabar has been created as a parallel extension of the original Nepali platform. While the Nepali site serves its core audience in their mother tongue, the English version allows bilingual readers, young professionals, and global audiences to follow Sikkim’s news and stories in English.
