Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang visits Manakamana Temple in Nepal, prays for peace and development

Gangtok, 9th January: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang visited the sacred Manakamana Temple in Nepal, a revered shrine dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, and offered prayers for the wellbeing, happiness, and prosperity of the people, the State, and the nation. The Chief Minister observed that the hilltop temple offers deep spiritual solace and a serene, awe-inspiring ambience that nurtures inner peace, harmony, and fulfilment.

During the pilgrimage, Prem Singh Tamang prayed for the upliftment of the poor, the sick, and the vulnerable, and sought blessings for the overall development, peace, and progress of Sikkim as well as the country. Guided by the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, he also prayed for universal peace, harmony, and the wellbeing of people across the world.

The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to all those who extended support and cooperation during the pilgrimage, acknowledging their kindness and assistance in making the sacred visit possible.
